Notes:
- As you plan your own family festivities during the holidays, remember that
there are many people who are unable to be with family members or otherwise
do not have access to nurturing family support systems. In the spirit of volunteerism
and civic-mindedness, consider extending your "family" and family
planning to include those who do not share the same bloodline. It can be enriching
to all involved to connect with non-family members and build extensions to
"family."
