Intergenerational Shared Sites Resources

Intergenerational shared sites are programs where children or youth, and older adults receive services at the same site. Shared sites also provide opportunities for the generations to interact during regularly scheduled activities and develop lasting relationships. Generations United, with the support of MetLife Foundation, has created some wonderful resources on intergenerational shared sites. UNDER ONE ROOF: A Guide to Starting and Strengthening Intergenerational Shared Site Programs (117 pages)
This how-to guide is for individuals and groups who are involved or interested in the development of shared sites. This guide, authored by a national group of experts from various disciplines with practical knowledge on intergenerational shared sites, provides general information on program development, highlights tips from different programs, and identifies relevant resources.
